Essential Qualification:Educational Engineering Degree (Govt. recognized course) in Computer, Computer Qualification : Science & Engineering, Civil, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation & Control, Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Instrumentation
Eligibility : First class Engineering Degree with aggregate 60% marks for general
category and 50% marks for SC/ST in the relevant discipline and should
not have completed more than 3 years after passing Degree as on
01.01.2019.
Age limit : For general candidates with date of birth on or after 02.10.1993
For OBC candidates with date of birth on or after 02.10.1990
For SC/ST candidates with date of birth on or after 02.10.1988
Instructions to the candidates The application form for apprenticeship is available in our website www.fact.co.in The candidates should send the scanned copy of the following original certificates along with the duly filled application form
to the mail id training@factltd.com on or before 21.10.2018. 1. SSLC Certificate 2. Degree Certificate & Marklist 3. Caste Certificate in the case of SC/ST & Non-Creamy Layer Certificate in the case of OBC candidates (Issued latest by 6 months by an officer not less than the rank of a Thahsildar) 4. Disability Certificate (for PWD candidates) from competent Medical Board.
The candidates who are submitting the applications directly to our office should attach the attested copy of the above certificates along with the application form. Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date or applications without the above mentioned certificates will be rejected and shall not be considered for selection. The scanned certificates which are not legible shall also be rejected. The list of the eligible candidates and the date/time of written test will be notified in our website www.fact.co.in. The hall ticket and other details of the written test shall be send to the mail ids of the eligible candidates. Candidates should register themselves in the online web portal of Board of Apprenticeship Training (www.mhrdnats.gov.in) under ‘Student’ category. Candidates with student ID in National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) only will be permitted for the written exam. Students awarded with CGPA / Grade system should produce conversion certificate of CGPA / Grade into percentage from their University. For those who have not submitted with the conversion certificate the UPSC’s CGPA conversion formula will be applicable.
The written test will be conducted at FACT Training Centre, Eloor, Udyogamandal, Cochin. The written test will consist of multiple choice questions (in respect of their disciplines) of one hour duration. The candidates shall report at the Examination centre on time with the hall ticket, filled up application form and identity proof (copy of Aadhar card). The selection will be based on the following criteria: i) Qualifying Examination 50% marks ii) Written test 50% marks Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC and PWD candidates is allowed as per rules (PWD candidates will be considered for selection to Computer discipline Apprenticeship only.) The stipend and period of training will be as per Apprentice Act (Period of Training - One Year, Stipend Rs.10,000/- per month). Dependents of FACT Employees should submit a Dependency certificate from HR Department while appearing for the written test. Details are also available at our website “www.fact.co.in” home page.
