Senior Technical Officer
Pay Scale: Level 11 (Entry Pay Rs. 67,700/-)
Essential Qualification M.Sc. Degree in Physics / Electronics / Material Science / Physical Chemistry with first class or equivalent grade (6.5 in 10 point scale or 60% marks) and consistently excellent academic record. OR B.E. / B.Tech in Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics Engineering with first class or equivalent grade (6.5 in 10 point scale or 60% marks) and consistently excellent academic record
Experience Minimum 10 years’ experience in the Government Educational/Research Institute / Autonomous Bodies / Institutions of National Importance / University/ PSU at the level of Scientific / Technical Officer in Electron Microscopy or related fields at least 5 years of which should be in the post carrying GP of Rs. 5,400/- (Level 10) or equivalent post.
Desirable M. Tech. in Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics Engineering
Job Requirements Incumbent shall be responsible for the Electron Microscope Facility and related activities of Physics / Biology disciplines.
