Educational Qualification and Experience: (a) Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering  with minimum ten years experience in the  implementation and management of roads/  highways projects  (b) Retired Govt. Employees with atleast  five years relevant experience of working  in the rank of Superintending Engineer or  above.  (c) Hands on working knowledge of  computer application, MS Office including  Excel, Access etc.

Terms of reference for appointment -Consultant (Technical) shall be responsible for 

• Assisting the Project Director/ Project Coordinator in all the project  monitoring and co-ordination matters.  ƒ 
• Review of all the technical reports and provide comments.
• Monitoring the projects activities.
• Reviewing of alignment plan and profile for the Highway/ Road projects  based on the surveys carried out by the Designer/ Consultant/Contractor.
• Review of detailed drawings for drainage junctions, high embankment,  retaining walls, wayside amenities, road signs and markings, safety  measures, km stones, protection works, arboriculture etc.
